DK call the doctor!!!!! When it comes to any meds they all have side effects that some people get, as with skinning cats the same hold true with most meds, there are many different ways of skinning cats and there are a lot of different meds to resolve thing.

Most of these meds make you feel kind of peculiar for a while. I've taken ones that made me feel worse. Unfortunately, for OCD, the required doses are usually at or near max levels, and the trial periods are quite long. Often, in the past, I haven't stuck it out long enough to really give them a chance, plus I was usually still drinking and smoking pot. I'm really trying to be a good patient this time around and be patient with the process, for both my sobriety and the meds. I have an appointment to see the nurse practitioner next week. Thanks for your concern, guys. Luckily, I don't own an ice pick.

hang in there DK.....I get body itching when I drink..and it really does drive me crazy and get me looking for an icepick...

You are being a good patient..just remember part of that is contacting the dr. before things get too outa hand

I'm wondering if I've seen him at a meeting already... the one I've been going to at the Alano club is pretty big, 'Noon Non-Smoking Group'. But Spokane has a lot of meetings.

I'm having a little problem with motivation. Sleepin' and loungin' around too much. Not getting things done around the house, dogs not getting enough exercise, eating too much candy. It's Friday night... I need to get out of the house!

hey dk...just wanted to touch base to say you're doing great! it is very sketchy in the beginning but trust me it does work...i'm living proof...almost 2 yrs sober! i wish you the best of sobriety and hope that dang dr can get you straightened out on the meds...try not to spend too much time alone, i know for me, i've always been my worst enemy...i make a pimple into a malignant brain tumor in seconds flat..lol
just keep coming and let us know how you're doing! We do care!!
