Had enough. Can't stop blazing

I have been a weed smoker since I was 13-14 here's old. 29 now. Now when I smoke it, it just ruins my day. Anxiety sets me. Could have plans. They get canceled. Today is day 2 staying off the weed/hash. I feel like a crack head sometimes when I smoke it. Dif drugs. Still an addiction. Just need somebodys to talk too

I drink once a month, last night was a bad night. Say stuff to my gf (who is my world) that is disgraceful. I'm not drinking again. She will leave me forsure if this happens again. I feel so terrible right now. Worst anxiety I have ever had. Wish I could go back in time.

Weed for me is super hard to quit. Booze will be a piece of cake. Just feel like I'm in a depressed state. Any help would be great. Thanks

I was right about 30 when I quit. Same as you, started smoking about 14 or 15. It was super hard after all that time but super worth it. Honestly, I never thought I could do it but have managed 5 plus years. Give it a go man, it's totally doable.

Thanks u so much. Thanks again D . I'm starting to feel this boring feeling come over me cause I know what I normally do at night. Get stoned. Take gravol and sleep it away or work out. Go for a walk. Idk what to do with myself.

Just hang in there. Going for a walk is a good idea. Working out is great. Taking a nap whenever you can is excellent. Just hang in there and give it time, it will be better soon, as long as you stay sober. Stay Strong.

Quitting pot was really tough for me for about the first month or so, because in my circle it's everywhere. I also had family members justify their own using by telling me, "It's not a drug, it's just pot - it's fine".

What worked for me, was giving myself the option to go back when things got tough and the spiteful part of myself spoke up and said, "Screw recovery! Let's smoke a joint!" lol. I had to say to myself, "You can go back to pot if you want. But today, you like the extra energy, right? and not burning out, or eating 10lbs of food right before bed? Well, just for today pot's a no-go, but maybe tomorrow". I always put it off til the next day, and the craving had gone away by then.

Good luck! you've got this!
