Anyone heard from Vic lately? He was going back to Columbia on Friday and he was worried about staying clean and he hasn't been back since then. I am just worried about him and wanted to know if anyone had heard from him. Vic, pop in and let us know that you are doing OK.

Thanks for showing some concern, and yep you had every right to worry,..I really ****** up this time! I am clean today but that is all I have is today. I guess that I don't have what it takes and nope I don't have LADY LUCK either. Well I guess it is probably best, she deserves someone that can love her. I do love her but I hear that you can't love anyone unless you can love yourself. I don't know why I keep using, I HATE IT!!!! Yet I have a voice inside me that wants to use. Well I need to try this deal again....Day 1 here. Again thanks for caring.

Thanks and actually since I made that post on here, my attitude sure has changed! Yep it has, no longer is there ANY ROOM FOR RELAPSE!!! I have to keep telling myself that yep I sure do. Good to see you, I hadn't seen you here all weekend and I almost came to hunt you down!

I am here all week long and I do it at work but on the weekends I am usually running around all over the place that I just don't have time to get on. I have a 16 year old son and a 12 year old daughter and they keep me pretty busy not to mention that I do all of my cleaning and laundry on the weekends and try to get some rest. I actually was very lazy this weekend. I layed around the house and watched TV all weekend. I did get my laundry done but other than that, I was lazy, it felt good for a change! I am actually going out of town this weekend, to Virginia! I am so excited! My husband is going to get a Federal job up there and we are going to check things out this weekend. I am so ready to move away from here and just start a new up there. It will probably be about 3-6 months before I can go up there after he gets on because I have to sell my house here first, but after that, I will be VA bound!!! I am glad to hear that you are doing better today. Your spirits seem to be up and you seem to be happy today. Maybe soon you can get another puppy. Was that you in the goatee on your homepage? I sort of pictured you looking like that and that is why I was wondering. Handsome man none the less. Well, I know that you are going to beat this. It may take longer than you want but in the long run, you will beat it and you will be happy and free again! I have faith in you, In know that you can do this and I am waiting on the day that you sign on and tell us that you no longer have the urge to use this stuff again. It will happen, I just know it!!!! Anyway, take care of yourself and I'll be around all day if you need me!

I live outside of the ATL, closer to Douglasville, but close enough to enjoy it from time to time. I love GA and have lived here all of my life but my AH feels that he needs a change of scenery and I do too. He has 8 years military and with this new job he can buy those back for little to nothing and can retire in 12 years with a good pension. We will be back. It is too beautiful to leave forever. My and his family both are here but he feels that his DOC is way to easy to get here and it really is. He has a lot of older friends who actually have scripts for the meds and they sell it to him, they think they are doing him a favor and helping his back but he has so many of these friends and all he has to do is pick up the phone and drive a few miles and he is set. Good to talk to you Teke. Hey, Buzz Kilowatt is from the ATL also.

GP yes that is me in the goatee LOL., No the avatar isn't my dog Lucky. Um it is a sad story of what happen to Lucky I will bring up the thread in case you want to see what happen. There are two threads for Lucky. One of the in the Recovery Forum and one here in the NA Forum. I will bump them up in case you would like to read them. You actually look a lot like somebody that I know here in GA. There were pictures on your homepage of you and a dog (large puppy) and that is who I was wondering if it was Lucky. I heard about your neice giving one away while you were gone to Columbia I think. Don't worry, one day soon you will be in a place where you will feel good enough and maybe go to the pound and get a puppy. JMO but I think that girl dogs make better pets. My husband has a male Fiest (like a chiuahuah(I can't spell)). I really can't stand that dog. Don't get me wrong, I am not mean to it but I just don;t like it. I want a female miniature schnauzer, salt and pepper or black. They are expensive but I will have one one day. You are going to be just fine because I enjoy talking to you so you can't leave again! We all miss you too bad!
