Fishing in the Keys - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I am visiting the Florida Keys (Cudjoe Key-Venture Out Resort) for a week this week. I am reminded of my life as an addict and howw I had never experienced anything like catching a nice supper in paradise, clean. How I had never had any experience clean, the sadness I felt at this was medicinal, a healing process. Things that used to baffle me are gradually becoming natural responses.

To all my brothers and sisters here in the Keys-this is a paradise and you all are a part of it. People don't make the place, God did, but people make a place a pleasure to visit.

How cool hope you enjoy yourself... I had the pleasure of visiting the keyes...It is beautiful. I too cannot wait to see it clean someday. Treasure this always !!!

Hey Jimmy,

My husband shares that all of his 'fishing dreams' have come true in recovery. Catching Marlin, Tuna, and many, many other types of fish, I'm sure he would be thrilled if he could be fishing the keys this week.
