On opiates sex was just more of a chore. It lasted WAY to long and I hardly every got to finish...

Sex clean is a WHOLE lot better.

Agreed. I chose the opiates over sex. About 3 weeks after cleaning up you woulda thought that I was 14 again. I was a complete horndog for the first year. Sex is MUCH better without opiates.

Thank YOU PETER!!! This is a good thread for me for this is the main reason that I do relapse. I feel that I am sexually inadequate when I am clean. Also when I am using I don't have the moral issue to deal with. When I am high, all is OK, I don't have to feel the feeling that I have since childhood which also has to do with some sexual issues.

For this junkie, I know that when I score, of course my first thing after that is to get hold of some female friends and have fun and most of the time it does include sex. I am single, but even when I was married, this was one of the reasons that I used also. I am going to have to find out how to get this out of my mind in order for me to get permanent sobriety. This sure is a good topic for this addict!...Thanks

Well sure it is good to try and to find Healing. I am sure that going through the steps with this issue among others is the way to go for me anyway. Actually the sex/relationship issues are on the 4th step. When I did my fourth step not to long ago, my sponsor said that he has never seen such a thorough job. But he did notice that I left out of my fourth was the sex/relationship part. It is hard for me to admit some of the things that I have done. Pretty shameful at that, and it seems like that might be the reason for my relapses other than I JUST WANT TO GET HIGH.

Yes I Did, And I Am Sorry, Maybe I Was Reading The Rule With So Much Water In My Eyed That I Missed A Lot Of Them, I Need To Go Back And Re Read Them. How Do I Go About Deleting Them

Hey Miss Done we both seemed to say the same thing and we both posted at the same time ummmm might be something there now it is time to get wet
