The addict in you is very strong and it is beckoning for you to respond to it 's call.

Just call that part of you "slick".

Slick tells you everything would be just fine,
it's just this one time.

But just this one time,
will get you back to using all the time.

Then you will remember the hell,
and wished you could have yelled,
"No I will not take a pill
as I just got over this hill"

Slick wants me to believe
that I can start it all over again,
because it would seem "fun",
soon though I wouldn't be able to see any "sun".

When you thought all was over
and "slick" was finally gone,
Slick came back to show you that "slick" is never really gone.

Please remember that "slick" will make an appearance in your life again and again.

But "slick" is not real,
SLICK JUST WANTS YOU TO NOT FEEL

So get to know the "Slick" that lurks within you,
cause then when "slick" reappears again and again, as you know it will,
"slick" will try and ruin it all,
as "slick" just wants you to keep on falling down.

We come into NA and lose our "L"!!
We thought we were slick and come
to NA and found out we were Sick!
