My boyfriend is a herion addict and he is in jail. I am looking for insperation things to send him. He is doing what he can do to prove he is going to be serious about recovery this time. The meetings in jail are only once and week and not all that great he says. But he is going! I've got the serinity prayer. If jail time counts he's gone 30 days today. I know he means what he says now, what he'll do when drugs are aviable I don't know. Who can know? But I was just wondering if you all had some advice on what to send him. |

The Basic Text of Narcotics Anonymous and other books are available at any NA meeting for reasonable prices. The "Just For Today" book has a daily inspirational reading for each day of the year.

You could also visit the NA.org website and download some back issues of the "NA way" magazine. I have always enjoyed reading those. http://www.na.org/naway/naway-toc.htm |

You may want to check the jail rules..some wont let you send inmates books of any kind...county jails here in Colorado are that way..they can buy NA and AA materials and Bibles inside though...
