Anything is possible I guess?? Try getting a sponsor face to face first. This is a real good topic for a live meeting.

Yes it is possible to have an on-line sponsor. It is better to have a face 2 face one if you can. I've also read your thread in Women in Recovery. You do what you feel you need to do to get your recovery started.

Someone told me that a sponsor is a sponsor and as long as you get one wether it is on-line or in person, it will be better than nothing at all I do know that quite afew have on-line sponsors, I have both and you know what the on line and my f2f sponsor agree on alot of different things. OK do what you think you need to do. Vic

Ok, s i want to start working the program, but everytime i do it with someone in person, i get hurt because my expectations are WAY too high! so, if anyone here would like to be a temporary online sponsor to me (at least until i build the strength to get a f2f one), that would be greatly appreciated.

cause, one thing i DO know about this program (even though i still try and argue it), is that we can't do it alone. but my fear of intimacy is going to drive me to doing it alone and i don't want ot fail anymore.
please!!???

If that is what you want to do, look around the boards, find someone you feel has what you want, and ask them.
