Damn,
I had a 'lightbulb' moment tonite, but it was too late.

I was at a meeting tonite, and I was introduced to a new member. After the meeting was over, this 'Lightbulb" went off in my brain and I realized that the person was Maria83. One of the newer members to this board. I ran downstairs and outside in the rain to try to catch her before she left, but she was gone.

When I got home, I came on here and saw she was on. I sent her a PM, but she never responded and logged off. I hope I didn't scare her off. She is very shy, and I can be a bit intimidating at times.

ARGH! Moments like this drive me crazy.

I don't know why you think you might have scared her off, but she'll probably be back. Don't fret, OK? I think it's so cool that you're meeting all these SR people. I've been supposed to meet a couple of people down here but it never pans out.

Shakur is Coming up here in July, he's speaking at our PI "Spiritual Awareness" event. Gooch lives a couple miles away from my house. Its a cool thing to meet people you talk to here F2F.

pearl lives in Hawaii, but I think she's AA. Where is Thousand Oaks? If you're anywhere near LA, you could probably find a meeting to connect with SR people at.

I know you asked me in the PMs what meetings do I go to...which ones don't I go to you should be asking.LOL I have been to all the meetings in my area. Hopefully I'll get to see you again at a meeting and actually have a chance to talk to you in person this time!

You're welcome, Skiss! I would just keep my eyes peeled here on the NA board and look at where people that post are from. You can also go into the Members List and skim over people's locations. Does that help?
