Smoking Cocaine Question

When a man smokes cocaine periodically (3 times per mo) would this make him be with other sexual partners or does it make him go into a room and isolate himself for hours???

He says he just goes into a quiet room and it makes him very anti-social?

I've read it can do both depending on the person.

I've seen for myself that it makes him very quiet and he almost whispers when talked to and he stays up till 3am. I've seen him leave at 2 or 3am to go get cigs and to have him not return for 24 hours. He went to get more!!

My next question is: Does drinking alcohol make people turn to smoking coke?

I've heard him say after he returns that he can't even drink.

Of course after his misery subsides I see him drinking and driving off to do his drugs, not to return for a while.

He does not want to talk about it ever, after he starts feeling better. he just says he is going to stop and that is the end of it.

Alcohol leads to his smoking coke. I wonder if it would make him premiscuous and he just lies about it and says he just isolates himself from people when he smokes...?

This is more of a forum about how to live life without the use of drugs, not to be rude, But drugs hit each one different. Does he want to stop?

Hey this is just an opinion from observation(I've known a few smokers ) NOT saying your man is..but the ones I've known if it takes a girl on the side to help support the habit when he's out of funds .....
I mean if you think about it and read on here people have lost their house , their jobs, slept in cars and done alot of horrrible things in behind addiction..so does cheating seem that far out there? I read a thread Sticky put up once by a guy named Jon it's called I am an Addict (I think that's what it's called) Of all the posts I have read (and I am an alcholic) I never read one that spoke more truth. Just check it out.

I have to tell you that I would NEVER trust anyone who smokes cocaine! It, along with amphetamines will make a liar out of absolutely ANYONE!

I for one don't trust ANY active addict. there are some recovering addicts I don't trust.

No one knows what is going through the mind of an addict trying to find ways and means to get more.

Listen you can spend all year trying to figure out what and why, but you never will. There is no logic to a using addict, I know I am an addict myself. I would suggest if you have not done so alreayd to hop on over to our Naranon board and meet some of the wonderful people over there who are sharing their experience, strength and hope on how to live their lives while loving an addict.

It has to be hard loving an addict, I can't even imagine how much it hurts when they are using. I am sorry for you pain.

In my sponsorship family it's been passed down "show me a coke addict and I'll show you a sex addict" Smoking cocaine brought me to my knees and yes sex came hand in hand, when I was able to perform. Cocaine hits the same area in your brain that sex does.

I second Paulie's suggestion to go and meet the folks over on the Nar-Anon board.

As for smoking coke making your partner cheat... hard to say. For some, they choose to isolate completely and masturbate. Others find a companion. Who knows if he's telling the truth or not... I would wager a bet that even he isn't quite sure what the truth is at times.

Look out for yourself... and love yourself.
