Hi from down under - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi everyone

Hope you are all well? I've been feeling abit down lately and i'm finding staying clean real hard to do at the moment,but i guess if it was easy all the time then i would give the great gift of recovery away!! even though i'm finding it hard i havent used and I'm 80 days clean today.
I've had to reshuffle my life abit cos i work when most of the NA meetings are on in my town (only five to choose from) have been going to AA meetings on my nights off but its not enough for this addict i need to talk about wanting to use drugs and not just alcohol cos thats where my head is at right now. So i've swooped my nights off with another girl so i can attend my old NA homegroup tonight, i cant wait.
I havent been checking this site for a while and i was starting to feeling lonely and that i'm the only mental head in the world who cant drink and use drugs! God damn self pity it creeps in so fast given half a chance!

Anyway it was good to check in with you all and i hope you are all enjoying life to the full.

Congrats on 80 days.Do you have a sponsor yet.I go to NA and AA meetings myself.Mostly NA though.I have an NA sponsor and he has me doing the steps through the NA step guide.
