Im an NA history junkie these days, could use some help

from the old timers. I'm blessed to have Kermit O in my support group and a home group member. Though I haven't asked him this question yet; What's the deal with basic text vs naway of life (Bo S)? There seems to be some type of resentments etc... any help would be greatly appreciated. I love learning this history of the program that saved my life.

Read this section about the Baby Blue. The last Approved edition of the Basic Text was the 3rd Edition. They used to be WSO, now the 5th has NAWS. But also the NA Way of Life is considered for adoption by World, I am unclear as to why myself, but there was alot of sh!t that went down in the early 90's about the text and Grateful Dave was sued by World office for the publication of the Baby Blue. Ask Kermit about Grateful Dave. There is a story behind it from many different viewers. I had the honor of meeting Dave, Cocky and Arrogant dude, But he loved Narcotics Anonymous, he was dying of AIDS, and went all out.
