| New to Message Board
Hi Everyone, I'm an addict with 15 days clean! In these 15 days my life has completely changed for the better. Some days I don't know how to comprehend everything. I attend meetings regularly and find they are my hope and sanity. I'm out of town for the holiday where there aren't any meetings. I've looked. I'm grateful to find this message board. There's some hours of the day that other addicts in my support group sleep. I find I don't sleep much w/o using. That's ok, but it gets uncomfortable at times. Looking forward to meeting new friends here. Thanks for being here. |

Imagine,welcome to SoberRecovery.And congradulations on 15 days.My name is Michael and I am a recovering addict/alcoholic.I am fairly new here myself.This place is like a life line for me.In between meetings I spend a lot of time here.The people here are great and very supportive.I have already made quite a few friends here.I look forward to reading more of your posts and getting to know you.

Hey Imagine.... My name is Jerry and I'm an addict. First of all welcome to SR and second congrats on being clean for 15 days. These boards are a great place to find some sanity when you can't find a meeting. Read through some of the posts and you'll see that we do recover and there is life after drugs. You've made a decision to live without drugs and you can find a lot of support here. Good luck. Jerry

Hey Imagine; Welcome to SR and congratulations on 15 days. My name is Jerome and I am an addict with 5 1/2 years clean, One Day At A Time. This is a great place to get to know others in recovery, but they are nothing like a live meeting. www.spiritualkarma.com is another great recovery site also, check it out, and keep coming back.
