Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. If you can, click on some of the advertisements once in a while, it helps pay for some of the cost of operating the site. OK.

I am so glad you have brought my attention to this site, I have also spread the word in some of the chat rooms I visit, Thank you everyone for your congrats, and it is all because of NA, it never worked before, not until I accepted I am an addict and my life was definately out of control, and unmanaged. I live in a great area where there is loads of people in Recovery, people who take it seriously as it should be taken. This is life or death, and today I sure don't want to die. Thanks to NA I see my children on a regular basis and even have a relationship with my parents. I never had my parents support before and blamed everything on a broken home, well my dad has given me hope and taken my reasons away so the only one left to blame is myself. I didn't do that before and I am so grateful and in 51 days I have more today than ever. The last 5 yrs. all I have prayed for has been given, there is someone who loves me, cares for me, and who has forgiven what I have done. So I know in order to show appreciation for all I have recieved I must accept my mistakes, forgive myself, and begin to live my life in faith. Thank you all Theresa |

Thanks Laurie, somedays being in recovery seems to easy, like everything is going so great that something really bad has to happen. I always feel that way. I feel that staying clean is hard at times but for the most part so easy because I actually enjoy my days, my friends, my children, my life. How was I so blind? ON the other hand I know something tragic is heading my way it always is, but today I try not to dwell on these things and just enjoy another day clean, and functionable. Well I hope your head feels better and I will call you sometime today probably about 1. Hope all is well

Theresa, Don't try to project that something tragic will happen. Just try to enjoy TODAY. Right now. That's it. Take comfort in the fact that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not an oncoming freight train.
