Where'd the music come from?? - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi everyone!!

I haven't been here in a couple of weeks. I'm getting a lot of tests done.... something's wrong with me.... I'm getting SEVERE stomach pains. All the time. I forgot to mention the years of drug abuse to this doctor. Maybe I'll mention it tomorrow after the test is over.

Anyway, every time I click on a post, there's a lot of loud music that comes on. Is there anyway for me to stop this?? I didn't see anything on the control panel. I usually have the TV on when I'm online, so I'd rather not hear the music, if possible. Thanks for any help!!

I am not sure how to turn it off either. I hate to complain because this is a great site... But I would rather not have the music either.

Ok, this is the first time I ahve heard the music. I am sorry, but it is kinda gay! lol This is still a wonderful site!! It's just the music is a little too repetitive, I can't even concentrate on what I am typing!

Hi all, I usually hang out over at the NarAnon forum, but I think someone may have hacked into the forums or something, cuz the music (if ya wanna call it that) is playing EVERYWHERE!!!

Thank goodness you hear it too! I thought I'd lost my mind!! Today's the first day I've heard it too. I agree that it needs to go. Not my first choice of tunes.

The voices in my head drowns the music out for me...lol... Just kidding, I'm not having that problem, hope that means they've fixed it.

LOL, thanks guys!! I haven't been around for a couple of days, and I'm not hearing it so far today!! YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! It WAS pretty awful, wasn't it?? I thought that it was a new thing you guys agreed on while I was gone from this site for a while!! It was too distracting & the choice in music was horrible, lol!!

Well, I'm glad it's gone. For now, anyway.

I wonder why I'm not getting notification of replies to my messages all of the sudden.... even in my spam folder?? This computer is driving me nuttier than I already am!!
