Findng a meeting.

I've checked out the locator. What happens when the closest meeting to you is nearly an hour away? Is there any other way of finding a local NA meeting or some other local support?

you sure? I plugged in aiken south carolina and came up with 27 meetings within 20 miles.

What I do is call a couple of people and ask if they want to ride with me to the meeting.

Driving an hour or 3 to cop drugs never bothered me or stopped me from getting what I needed. Its no different today... I will do whatever it takes to get what I need for my recovery.

You are one of the lucky ones if there is an NA meeting an hour away. I have friends in India that have to travel up to 6 hours to get to an NA meeting.

Go to a meeting, get a meeting list with phone numbers on it. take that meeting list home, call those numbers if you need a ride. Just gotta show up, recovery doesn't happen sitting at home. I wish you well, and hope you make a meeting.
