Help Family Driving Me Nuts !!!!!!

you know family is a lots of bs to handle. all im trying to do is recover and all my family can do is squabble. my mom just got out of the hospitle for her blood pressure and the dr told you need to not stress out and everything and all the family can do is come to her with all thier bs and stress her out and it infuriates me. do they really not care or are they just idiots. i feel like going off on all of them and saying do you understand all your doing is helping her get sicker and your going to put her back in the hospitle again. it realls ticks me off to no end how they can be like that. do they want her to have a heart attack do they want her to have a stroke. im trying to use the serenity prayer and im trying to pray to my higher power to allow me to accept these things and people i cant change but it is getting increasingly hard every day as i see them being so damn selfish. do they really not care are they that cold it seems they are im hoping there all just real stupid and dont know what they are doing but i dont think that is the case and it is driving me nuts. i know this post doesnt have much to do with addiction . but it is definately interfering with my recovery since i cant concentrate on me all i can think about is all the bs going on around me. so if you have any suggestions once so ever PLEASE let me know i know alot of you have to have some experience in dealing with this type of stuff PLEASE tell me how you dealt with it and mabe i can apply it to my situation.im pretty sure anyway is going to be better than the way im am doing it.

well i feel for you. I was 18 had a baby my mom was put into a mental ward of the hospital and i had to take care of my 14yo brother until she got out and then take care of her to. I am a hot head and spout what I think so you can imagine when my lil bro started giving my mom a hard time I went off on him and to this day I still tend to step in situatioins with my mouth open sometimes it works and sometimes it makes things worse and maybe in you situation that would make it worse for you mom try taking them aside and remind them what the dr. told her and family upon release from the hopital and that they arent helping her and if that doesnt help maybe get someone who feels the same to help you screen her visitors meaning dont let anyone see her for too long or too often and only at certain times kinda like they would in the hospital.
