step three

In step three...why is making a decision central to working this step?

For me, that's ALL step 3 was -- deciding.

"Did I want to continue with the steps or not?" (yes, I did). It really wasn't until I was in steps 6 and 7 that I actually started practicing step 3 (abandoning limited objectives <ie my way> and moving toward HP's will <unlimited possibilities>).

Do you feel like can effectively work steps 4 thru 12 without making this decision first?
