Job Search Help - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

My husband who has just had his 90 day birthday is deparately searching for a job. But his having pending drug charges has greatly hurt several job background checks with really good jobs. Does anyone know of any place or service that can help someone with pending or convicted charges find a job??? We are living separately right now, he @ a Sober house & our 4 kids & I at my parents. Both of us have to be working for us to get OUR OWN PLACE. WE NEED TO BE UNDER ONE ROOF SO BADLY.

If he's in a sober house, he has all the resources available for references and services to help him find work. At 90 days his recovery needs to be his first priority. If and when its meantto be, you will find your way back under 1 roof.

Meanwhile please take a look at the friends and family forum here. Ther are many family members who have a great deal of experience with coping with life, while being involved with active and recovering addicts.

He is at a Recovery/sober house. its a prospect house, but there is no one there who has the resources. where does he need to go or talk to?
