|  Just a little crazy today.........
I just joined this site today and I think that is pretty cool. I heard about it from anouther person in recovery.Today I am going to a music festival with some people who are also in recovery and I am just a little nervous because I have not been to a concert sinse I have been clean My sponsor is going to so I know that everything will be ok but it is something new to me in recovery and I always get a little nervous when trying to new things. I wanted to make it to a meeting last night and I had planned to but things got all screwed up and my other half went instead He wanted to take our son with us but I didn't feel like dragging him out. I really wanted to go but I don't know how to tell my other half hey look can you stay home I guess its my fault don't know

Welcome NAngel! The best part of going to something that you aren't sure of with NA friends is that if you had to leave they would understand and someone would probably leave with you. We take care of us. I've been to some great concerts since I've been clean and the best were the ones I went to with my NA FAMILY. |

Hey Naangle, Welcome to SR. Just look at my avatar, and you will know who this is. You need to open your mouth and speak up. If you need to get to a meeting, just tell him, hey I need a meeting. If it ever gets to the point that you really need a meeting and can't find a baby sitter, just call me I'll take him for a little while. If you bring him to my house he'll think he died and went to Toys 'R' Us heaven.lol
