Hi. Has anyone ever found a sponsor here on SR? How did it work out, etc? Is it even allowed?

Due to my extremely rural area and while I do not find myself as picky, but wanting someone who has what I want, I found mine on a phone meeting! I love her and we speak 3 times a week. I am hoping to meet her face to face this summer!

I also met a lady on here (SR) once who had what I wanted but lived in Indiana, she offered to sponsor me and we spoke by phone, but it ended up not being a go. However do not discredit this idea as in the BB they used to do letter writing. The only caution in this is not to isolate, get out there in the world!
