NA Football NA Football: Quarterback Sneak: Members quietly leaving during the meeting. Draw Play: What many children (and members) do with fliers during a meeting. Benchwarmer: Members who just sit there with a blank look on their faces and do not share or contribute. Backfield in motion: Members that continually go out for a smoke, get coffee, or to the restroom during a meeting. Staying in the pocket: What happens to a lot of the 7th Tradition. Two-minute Warning: End of the meeting gathering of children and belongings for the door dash. Instant Replay: Continuous repeating of the same sentence or sharing. Sudden Death: What happens to everyone’s attention span if the meeting goes overtime. Blitz: Rushing the door when the meeting is over. End Run: Members coming in five minutes before the end of the meeting wanting their papers signed. Anonymous (Reprinted from “The Voice of Recovery”- September 2003)

Do you guys sign the papers if they come in the last five minutes, the End Runners? We don't. They have to be there for the sharing or the speaker, whichever we have, or no signature. It seems like an easy thing to forge though, so I don't know why they bother if they don't want to come. kj

Every group in my area has a policy for signing papers, and some groups refuse to do it altogether. But most groups stand firm that the person must attend the entire meeting or their papers won't get signed. Here's a link to the NAWS bulletin on this subject: Bulletin 31 meeting attendance cards

Actually, no...Rez. I'm sorry, but I never even thought of doing other sports. I'll look and see what I can come up with.
