Lately I've been slacking off my meetings (lots of excuses, none valid) Yesterday I said screw it, dumped the kids with my husband at work and went.

As I pulled into the parking lot, my shoulder muscles actually loosened up, my headache I'd had all day started to abate and I could have kicked myself for denying myself these meetings. That won't happen again.

I also, after 8 months of sobriety and meetings got the guts to ask a lady I really like to sponsor me.

I've had much the same experience. I have chronic migraines, and lower back pain from degenerative disc disease. It's amazing how much better I feel both emotionally AND physically when I go to a meeting

Best of luck with your sponsor! My sponsor is invaluable to me!
