| New to Forum, Suboxone Treatment
After being hooked pretty badly on high potency medications for a long time, like taking about 6 oxy 40mg's a day or 10 oxy 20's or even 25 percocet 10's, myself and my immediate family has had enough. A close family member went through the suboxone treatment, and I have an appointment Monday the 17th for this. I tried going to the ER last friday so I could get authorized to take off of work, which is an extenuated circumstance of losing my father 3.5 months ago and using all my time off, and I was treated like a criminal! They gave me some very poor attitudes and looked like they were glad to be rid of me....then to top it off, the ER doctor filled out the paperwork stating that basically nothing was wrong with me. I got rid of my pills so I was entering withdrawals by the time I left and have been sick as a dog ever since. This has happened 5 times before almost, and each time for one reason or another I relapsed, this time for the most obvious reason. Im seeking help...but now I am stuck with the dilemma that my job looks at me as if I am trying to pull a fast one. I see my primary physician tomorrow and I have some confessing to do. I named him at the hospital as my primary, so I would imagine he knows most of whats going on. I can say I didnt scam him for pills....I did hurt my back a while ago, but I didnt have THAT much pain. But then again, it was unnecessary so I guess I scammed him. I have until tomorrow to get my FMLA papers signed or I will most likely lose my job, thanks to what seems like a vindictive doctor in the ER. I had to vent that out, and any suggestions would be greatly welcome as I have been sick with grief over this entire thing for a day now.... Thanks everyone! |
