| To Die Clean
I received an email today about two of our long-time members passing on. I can't verify whether it's authentic, but I thought about how sad many members who got to know these members must be and how amazing it is to have lived clean and died clean. Here is what the email said: We lost 2 long term members of NA in Los Angeles CA this week. Gordon B. (44 yrs clean) has passed away in his sleep this week of March 20th 2007 as he was Bob B.'s sponsor (45 yrs clean) and he lived somewhere in LA like Corona CA which is about 40 miles east of downtown LA near where the I-10 and I-15 freeway intersection Please have a moment of silence as one of our real NA historians has left us for the big NA meeting in the sky and I am sure MANY people here on earth will miss him. John P (35 yrs clean) from The San Fernando Valley has died on or around March 22nd 2007 from a "major heart attack"

Yes, thoughts go out to Jesse B, Gordon's wife. He was a pioneer. The message was trickled down through our sponsorship family (Rehmar) line

| I heard Gordon as a speaker, for the So Cal Eastern Inland Empire N.A. day of the Dinosaurs function in 2005 , all the speakers that day had double digit clean dates. Sorry to hear he passed on, but I am glad to see he went clean! he will be missed , I remember how amazed I was that he had more clean time in life then I had been alive, I was about 9-10 months clean when i went to that and heard him speak.

| May we all live clean and die clean. It's not such a bad thing... in fact, it can be a very good thing. Prayers to all who miss these fine fellows of NA. (...)
