The disease took another one.

My friend Janet, who tried and tried to get this for the past 3+ years, is gone. She passed away on Monday from an over dose.

She had so much willingness, and desire to get clean, but she just couldn't get it for whatever reason.

She was known to ride her bike to meetings everynight, she would ride for miles to a meeting no matter what the weather was. Sometimes, she would call someone and get a ride, but for the most part she chose her bike.

Last Wednesday when she was at my homegroup, she had 15 days clean again. She looked really good, and was really proud of herself. For reasons that only she and God know, she picked up over the weekend, and lost her battle on Monday. Her boyfriend found her in the bedroom.

The fellowship here is taking it hard. She will be very missed, because she was loved more than she realized.

All of your support is appreciated.
I had to work yesterday and couldn't attend the services. I did think about her during that time though.
