A guy came up to me after the meeting tonight and asked if I would be a speaker at one of our Friday night speaker meetings. A couple years ago I would have never imagined this.

WTG!!

They told me the only way I can keep what I have is by giving it away. Sharing is a basic tool of our program and I feel grateful whenever I'm asked to speak because it shows me that others believe in me. As a matter of fact, I shared for a workshop at our annual convention last week. Go and give them what you got...you'll be pleasantly surprised at who will gain from it (even if it's just you and one other person). When we share from the heart and tell our stories, the message of recovery always comes shining through.

That is great Mike.
I know you will do a wonderful job.
It is always nice when people let us know how much we have progressed. You sure have and they are going to get a nice evening of sharing.

I knew it.

We still had the trailer with the quads on it after the meeting last night. We were standing next to them when he walked up and asked me about being a speaker. Then he asked about going riding with us sometime.

I have taken several people from the program out riding including both my sponsies. Since then, 2 have gone out and bought their own quads, one more bought a 2 wheeler, one sponsie was inspired to finally rebuild his Banshee, and a few others plan on buying one this spring. Slowly but surely, my little plan is working.

Right on my NA Brother I am glad to hear it....Hey since you like to speak how would you like to come to NP Nebraska and speak at out one year anniversary party on July 20? LOL that would be a heck of a ride or flight.
