Step 9 and absolutely! I can forgive others today and in turn forgive myself. It sucks having to have added more people to my 8th step list since being clean. But this is my second time around on 9 and I've gotten so much out of this.

Also on my 9th step. All of the steps have been beneficial in their own way, and I don't think one is more important than the next. Save for the 1st. After my 3rd, I started seeing little miracles all over, and tasted my first taste of serenity. That alone is worth the price of admission. Granted, my admission price was pretty high. My 4th and 5th were revealing. I found that most of the problems in my life were of my own doing. It's good to "clean out the closet".

I've been through all the steps a few times. I'd say I try to work steps 1,2,3 each day and also steps 10,11,12 (sometimes called the maintenance steps). Yes, I get a lot out of it, more than I realize, probably, because after so much time working the steps, a lot of it has become second-nature now.

Technically I am on step 8. Although I try to have all the steps in my life all the time. I really loved doing steps 6 and 7. It was amazing to find character defects that I had and when I asked that they be taken away how little things would happen and I could see them plain as day. I really wish I would've spent more time on them, but now I am going to on my own.
