| Whant kind of plans you guys have for tonight?
Hi all my name is Ivan and I am a grateful recovering addict. Tonight am going to celebrate New Years eve at a NA dance party function downtown of the city…. If its half as good as last year dance, it will be a pumping mad dance marathon. I hope I get lucky tonight……… Finding parking that is...lol. What can of plans all you guys have for tonight ? Also a little word of wisdom. For you guys going to any NA dance function tonight or for that matter any type of party. Keep your coffees, soft drinks or waters with you at all times. I hate to say this, but there are still some recovery addicts who are still sick and suffering if you now what I mean. I like wish every one here at Sober Recovery a Happy Clean and Sober New Year, from the bottom of my heart. Peace and Love Ivan

Hillarious Ivan,"I hope I get lucky tonight……… Finding parking that is...lol." I just spent the day hiking to a warming hut to meet my other half, and I am tired and sore, but happy. I've got a pizza in the oven and clean sheets on the bed, I don't think I'll make it to see the ball drop, but happy new year to everyone, hope3.

Good morning all. Happy New Year. I hope and pray that 2007 resolution and dreams come true for all. Hi my name is Ivan and I am a grateful recovering addict. Pump up the jam.. Pump up the jam.. Pump it up…lol I had a wonderful time last night. At 11:59 the music stop, the DJ ask for every one can we please have a moment of silence for those still sick and suffering addicts. Then about sixty or more addicts resisted… God grant me the serenity to except things I can not change, the courage to change the things that I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Then 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Happy New Year. Hugs, hugs and more hugs. Got a hole lots of names and numbers… I mess Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. I didn’t get lucky last night…… I had to park a mile away and take a cab downtown..lol. My New Year resolution for 2007 recovery wise is to continue to grow on my foundation… Help the newcomer… Be a power of example to all. Personally I will like to lose a few pounds, about twenty to thirty…lol… Take care of my self physically… like eat better…see the dentist….get a physical. Get a girlfriend… God grant me please..lol Lees stress at work..A Priority. What Are Some Of Your New Years Resolutions? Peace and Love Ivan

I woke up with a headache & sore muscles I didn't even know I had. My mascara was still on, though nowhere near where I put it. My hair was standing on end (and it's bright red now and very long....witchy sight, let me tell you). The other side of the bed was empty, so it meant I slept late again. But I had a great time! I remember every moment of it and can pretty much trace each sore muscle back to the dance move I thought I was still young enough to pull off! (I did headbang to Alice in Chains -- with my son cheering me on -- but I skipped his front flip finale) I have to remember that though my body is much stronger than it used to be, I have a one-dance limit without the cane. It was pretty late when we got home, and I decided to forgo the make-up removal for a quiet retrospective talk with my hubby. It's been a wonderful year and a sober year. I was very fortunate to bring it in with a whole pile of people who have enjoyed or are on their way to enjoying the same. And at midnight, I was slowdancing with my husband, singing Carole King's "You've Got a Friend" to him....with the whole crowd singing along. Happy New Year, SR. Peace & Love, Sugah
