| Ninth Step - Amends
Hey family, well I'm finally on my step nine and I was hoping for a little ESH. My sponsor suggest a letter and I have no clue where to start and what to write. I'm so ingrained by the old stand by "I’m sorry”. I have been doing a ton of reading, highlighting and praying and would still benefit from a little guidance. I will appreciate any thing you have to offer.

Step 9 is definitely one you need to have the guidance of a sponsor. My ESH and hope is that an amend is much more than saying I'm sorry. Timing is also very important. It is better to wait to make some amends to avoid causing more harm. Some amends can be made indirectly rather than directly. I can't offer more advice without knowing your situation in more detail. Good luck!
