Hello everyone. I am Allyson A. from Pgh, Pa. I am new to this site and excited about my recovery and this forum which I can learn more about the 12 steps, talk to other members and share where I am at. I am a member of NA, my clean date is 1/06/04. One day at a time, I am living and enjoying life without the use of drugs for almost 3 years. I am looking forward to meeting others just like me on this wonderful journey.

WELCOME... I am new here as well. Congrads on 3yrs clean !!!! That's Awesome....proud of you. There are alot of people on here like you and many who are just starting to get clean while posting their daily progress. Then there are also people like me on here who still use. Personally... I take pain meds daily for real pain issues but.... I admit I take more than I am supossed to during the coarse of the day and because I really do have pain issues my main goal as of right now... is to try and cut down my intake and take my meds without abusing them... eventually I want to get my tolerance down so I need less to achieve pain relief but for the moment my main goal is to get back to taking them as directed. ( one step at a time I guess ) I may not be the best person to chat with but there are alot of others who are just awesome and so supportive to the people in here. When the day comes and I have my jaw joint replaced and I am ready to get off all meds this is one place I want to be...with others who do care and know what I'll be going through and will help me through it. Until then I do know they will help me through the cutting back part as much as they help the others who are stopping altogether.... because even cutting back like I want to is still gonna be hard for me & my body and I know I will need support for that. ANYWAYS...... CONGRADS & WELCOME | |
