I allways wait till the last moment to pack...why is that?

Anyway, I am going on a trip tomorrow to New York to visit the culinary school I got accepted to and I'm excited as hell!!!! They are paying for me and a guest to fly up and for our hotel room and for our food and everything...they ROCK!!!!

So if any of yall will be in the Poughkeepsie area, me and my roommate will be at a meeting friday night.....I'll be the tall goofy looking dude with the **** eating grin....

Under a different set of circumstances since you would only be about 4 hrs away, I would drive down there and meet you.

Think your near 3 RIVERS AREA?

It was so unbelievably awesome.....I can't wait till feb. when I get to move up there!

The area is right on the hudson river and all the trees were chaging colors and there were big huge rolling hills. The campus was beautiful, it is an old jesuit monestary and the grand hall, where the students eat, is the old chapel...and looks straight out of a harry potter book. There are ove 40 some odd kitchens and bakeshops on campus and everyone there is only there for either culinary arts or baking and pastry so it is very specialixed and filled with food geeks like me...

I went to a meeting the night before I left and it was really cool, it also happened to be a birthday celebration, 2 people picked up 7 years each....a little bit different, alot of the same....We went out and grabed a bit to eat with another addict we met at the meeting and he grave us the skinny on the poughkeepsie area and where all the meetings are at and told me to call him once I moved so he could show me around and stuff.

I can't wait, I'd move tomorrow if I could...

Gooch, 3 rivers area, I'm not sure? But when I'm down next time, I'll deffinately make my way up north a bit to hit some meetings and meet ya....I was told that northern NY was the place to go winter clothes shopping anyway.....and I'll deffinately need to do that.....Louisiana stores don't even really stock "cold winter clothing"

None of this would be possible without NA and my HP.....I'm so greatful right now....
