| Welcome Just wanted to say hi to all of my fellow addicts out there. If its not already obvisous, lol, im new to the site. However, im far from new to drugs and recovery. I, along with prolly most of you, have done almost every drug out there. Im 28 years old, and ive been on this monsterous rollercoaster since I was about 15 yrs old. Speaking straight up. I relapsed today. Reason why? No meetings, buried my grandmother last week, loneliness, guilt. All of those and many more. However its no excuse and im trying not to beat myself up too much. Trying to pull myself back together and learn from my mistakes. I know im nobody to be giving advice. Kinda like the blind leading the blind but I was once an RN. A very good RN I can confidently say. Graduated top of my class worked Telemetry, ER, ICU, CCU, and alot of the other units. I loved it. Unfortunatly, I loved the drugs too much and gave nursing up before I landed myself a nice cell in prison. To whom ever out there that took the time to read this, thank you. Its nice to vent. Also, to anyone out there struggling with their disease today......hang in there and know that your not alone. My heart goes out to each and everyone of us. No one will ever know how we feel, what we've been through, or the worries, concerns, the guilt that seems to cloud our thinking and that guilt that attempts to consume us second by second, minute by minute, or day by day. However, if you have no family, no friends, or someone you can talk to, my ears are always open. Well, I guess thats enough rambling for me for now. Please hang in there. Thats all we, and thats all im going to focus on for today. God bless us. Sincerelly, J |

| I read this because that is my son's name. I relapsed today too, from nicotine. Four friggin weeks without, I know how you feel. I will jump back on that wagon, and get some more insight on how to conquer this. Good luck to you, you can do it ![]() |
