Dr. Put Me on Naltrexone

Anyone taken this for drinking and depression.
He has me on cymbalta nad Naltrexone which is suppose to take the urge of drinking away.

I don't have any experience with Naltrexone or Cymbalta. Some one here will probably. How do you think it's working for you?

Well Done on finding Help. I was on naltexone before, tablets to begin with then an implant.It worked for me.!
Naltrexone is an opiate inhibitor,please DO NOT USE on naltexone, you can die.Im sure your Dr gave you some advice.?

Ive never hread it given for alchol before...? they normaly woud give you some thing like antibuse...?

But im in England and you probabley have different approches than us.?

Good Luck, they WILL stop you using any opiate.!

I take Cymbalta, it works well for me.

My AH took Naltrexone, it did not do much for his cravings, but a lot of his cravings were because he was bipolar and untreated. He was trying to self medicate the mania. Not a good thing..
