Boderline Support Groups in NYC

Dear all

I'm an alcoholic (4 1/2 years sober) and I'm having issues with my girlfriend who suffers from Borderline Personality Dissorder amoung other things.

Do any of you know of any support groups tailored to friends and families of those with BPD or similar mental/mood disorders, or, any AA meetings that have a similar theme?

This would be in the NYC metro area, Brooklyn or Manhattan preferably.

Hi C-

I don't know of support groups in NY or close to there, I live on the other side of the US (Arizona). There are several on-line support groups, here are a few of them. Some of the websites out there can be very negative towards BPD, but I personally felt the MHS Sanctuary was the best, it has lots of info. I hope this helps!

maybe al-anon would help. I know it's not directly connected, but the general principlees would probably be useful.
