i went thru a hard time without my meds i was irratble cranky woman that i thought i would have been homicalde if the opportunity arrased and given a reason for it

the only person i hurt was myself for being without meds and not calling doc sooner cuz he did get me right in and gave me a month worth of meds as samples due to oregon and all the new health things we are going thru out here with in the system they are making cuts on people who need meds and therapy and it is hurting alot of bipolars like us my doc says i am fine now but my insurance runs out around may then i dont know what i will do my new health insurance doesnt cover medications so i am concerned about it cuz i know when i dont take my meds i am a mess (WHAT TO DO )? I am not sure until it happens
i am taking it one day at time now working on getting my little boy home and that is all i can do for now and not drinking or drugging to me that is enought to keep anyone busy i know it is me

Angry

Your new health insurance doesn't cover PRESCRIPTIONS???? That's crazy! What happens if you break your leg and have to go to the regular doctor? Tough toodles? Anyhow, I don't know where you live, but do you have any public mental health organizations in the area? Sometimes they can connect you with resources that will help you get your meds. Dear Lord, what is this world coming to, when health insurance companies won't cover prescriptions? That's a lousy, rotten, stinking thing.

Good luck, and I hope you can find some resources to help you. Let us know how it goes!
