Please Give This Careful Consideration

http://www.drlam.com/A3R_brief_in_do...al_fatigue.cfm

After reading the book "The Diet Cure" by Julia Ross, I am convinced I have this problem.

I have been taking vitamins and supplements to help stabalize my blood sugar, but I still have salt and sweet cravings.

I am calling a medical doctor on Monday to get this testing arranged. Will post more as time goes by.

Hope this helps, Mike

As I look over the long lists, I see many things that I could aline with but I also see where simple life changes can stop many of the things on my list.

Hey Mike...

What we put in our bodies has 100% impact on how those poor babies are able to function.

We are meant to live on clean basic food and clean plain water...

Man.. we are a ways from that... ;o)

If anyone wrote down what the content of their care was around their bodies...
man.. no wonder so many of us are draggin our azzes around this planet...

So.. it's good that your looking at the base reasons for low functioning ....

Let us know what developes for sure...

time to take good care of Bozo.. ;o)

those symptoms also parallel symptoms related to mercury or heavy metal toxicity, candida, low thyroid, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
many naturopathic doctors and a few noted psychiatrists alike have been entertaining the notion that heavy metals are the cause of thousands of cases of bipolar disorder, major depression, as well as chrontic fatigue syndrome, adrenal fatigue, and other diagnoses, included autism.

i think everyone should try to eat organic food and filtered water is a neccessity in these days of toxic products taking over the market, pollutants, hormones, and environmental destruction occurring.. and these products are getting worse and worse, because they have to increase the strength of all the pesticides every year. those bugs just keep coming back stronger.

the facts clearly show us that toxins and the environmental changes of the past century are causing a great deal of stress on our health, including our mental health.

the best thing we can do is make the switch to an organic lifestyle.
it takes time.. in the last three years i have changed the following things:
* i buy 100% all natural/organic food
* i only eat meat when others are cooking
* i dont dine out too often anymore, when i do, i feel sick
* i have a water filter on my sink and also one on my shower head

someday, ill build a house out of non-toxic materials, like those engineered by Earthship Biotecture

people really need to start taking natural health seriously
and start questioning why it is we manufacture all of these
chemicals that seem to be destroying our planet, our society and our health.

i hope you can begin to feel better. one day at a time.

Interesting.

The MAIN thing I could identify with, that I have never really seen mentioned, besides fatigue which is common for me, is craving the high protein meats and cheeses. I NEED rare beef. And love to munch on cheeses.
I don't eat right, so I have never thought it odd that my body craves the high protein food. I have always thought that when we crave a food it is our body telling us we need something???
And, even tho' I just said I don't eat right, I have gradually improved a great deal from where I was a few years ago.

Honestly, because I am tired when I get home from work, that is often my dinner. A couple of yogurts.
But I eat a plate lunch at a diner for lunch work days.

oh, I supplement the yogurts sometimes with the slim-fast meal-on-the-go drinks because they are filling and have the vitamins etc.
Too lazy to cook. Too tired to go out for dinner.

Hi Mike,

Very interesting. I printed out a copy to take to my MD and psychiatrist.
Thanks.

I just bought a book that attributes the fatigue to an improper ph balance. Oh the title sounded great, the book made so much sense. I asked my Dr about it Friday and he says.....well the physiology of the body has built in mechanisms for keeping the ph in balance......so that was pretty much de-bunked. I was so excited thinking I could raise my energy level by following this dietary advice! He didn't just pooh it, he explained it in a very intelligent manner referencing the many cultures and even ethnic eating preferences in the US.
I am taking vitamins. Trying to reduce stress and get enough rest.
