| I'm here and OK
I started to read some responses to my post of the other day. I have stopped. I'm sure being as you all are, caring, you had some nice things to say. However, I need to move on. I made a mistake and personalized some comments by others. This was and old alcoholic behavior rearing it's head. The fact is, it isn't my job to defend AA or any other program. Least of which direct these actions at others. This was a new lesson of how actions driven by anger, revenge etc. solves nothing. Just the simple fact that I use pieces from many programs to remain sober. My foe is mental health issues and addiction. I fall back on my own advice. I read in "Living Sober' that to enter into controversy, even if right, will serve no useful purpose in my recovery. Programs are just programs, people work them on a personal basis, I need only share my experence with others for them to have choices of actions. I try and think of my PTSD and alcoholism in the third person. There is nothing that would make them both happier than to get me so upset, so angry that I quit recovery. They know, once I do that---They've Got Me. I'm still going to back off a little for a few days. After I get home and check in with you all, and the new people.

I seem to have missed whatever it was that upset you... but I'm glad you're staying and that you're ok. I would miss sharing in the panda updates if you weren't around! --anne
