Hello Jackie, and welcome to SoberRecovery. This thread you pulled up was started almost 5 years ago, (3-01), so you might not get many replies. Feel free to post a small introduction either here, or up in the Newcomers Forum, if you feel like talking. I think we should give you an award for digging up one of the oldest threads started though, this could be your lucky day! |

Hey Jackie... Welcome to SR... There might be a bit of confusion as well around your post .. cause this is a message board and not a chat board... But.. if you come back we'll get you on the right board and show you the ropes of the forum.. ;o) |

Currently we do not have a specific chat room for bi polar issues. But what we are is a discussion forum. The nice thing I have found about a discussion forum is I still get fairly prompt relies to my posts and I also am able to get a much larger variety of responses to my posts since others can view it when they have a chance. With chat once the chat is done then the topic is lost and someone coming to the chat later does not have the opportunity to add anything to it. Hope you will stick around and give our forum a try. YOu may find you enjoy it. We are in the process of getting our chat room back up and running. It is possible that in the future we will have a chat session on mental health issues.
