| Stigmas...just another example
Stigmas...I've come to realize how much this goes along with my illness. How others percieve mental illness is so important! I'm a little mad. Occationally, I watch the "X-Files" when I'm up late at night like this...often I just have it on in the background as I work on the computer. Tonight they had an episode that really ticked me off. It was about a man (a photographer) who was bipolar and was kidnapping and torturing young girls. They suggested there was a connection between his bipolar disorder and his horrendous behavior! How discriminating is that!? And it's not the first time they've talked about one of the sick-o's on an episode being bipolar. I have half a mind to call or write or something and cus them out! Though, I'm sure it wouldn't do anything except waste my time. Just aggrivated and venting.
