Information Needed

Hi. I know what this forum relates to but I was wondering if anyone could share a lil info with me. My very good friend is a drug addict and although that is bad enough, she is suffering from severe depression and what I think is called Self-Mutilation(she cuts herself). I was wondering if anyone could point me to a website regarding this sad form of self injury. Any references, book titles, websites or anything would be appreciated.

Hello, I am new to this but know I need to make some serious changes in the choices I am making. My health is suffering due to drinking too much and not eating the right foods. I don't get drunk when I drink but still feel a need to keep alcohol in my body. Are there natural alternatives to take away the urge?

Well, I've heard sweets help prevent cravings for alcohol. But, you sure need to be careful there. Use natural fruits that are healthy alternatives to candy and/or other carbs.

I think you may want to check out the alcoholism forum or the AA forum, here on SR though. There, you will find others sharing their own ESH while overcoming alcohol cravings.

Also, you can start a new thread by clicking on "new thread" on the left hand side of any forum. You don't have to dig up an old thread from 5 years ago. Was there something there thatyou wanted to address?

I wish you all the best.

Shalom!
