Post In the zombie zone....

Sorry for all the spun-up Manic posts guys.
I hope the "list" one helped someone though, even with the psychotically skewed viewpoint.

One of my friends (he's Bi-polar too) had a MAJOR downswing several weeks ago, stopped taking his meds, fell of the Crack waggon, and then attempted suicide.
Dealing with that pushed me into a downswing, and then when he turned around and started showing some real honest signs of recovery last week, I went into my Manic phase.

My S.O. finally noticed when I was typing my list the other day, and then yesterday he told me I needed to burn off the energy by cutting the yard with Nail-clippers.
I took the hint and went to see the WitchDoctor, and he upped my meds.

So now I'm in the zombie zone again.
w h o o p i e ...
Here's hoping it only lasts a few days this time. I can't even trust myself to walk to the corner store, let alone drive anywhere when I'm like this.
So I'll just keep reading my list, HitchHikers, and these boards.

My sails are slack, but at least it's an even keel.

Good-Morning E.E.
Glad to see you are here, even if you feel like a zombie. Hey; we all feel that way at times. Especially when the people "practiceing medicine" on us are playing with the med. levels. I have deffinetly spent my fair share of time in the zombie zone myself. At least you know your limits about what to do and what not to do. I was the type that thought if it all seems un-real it must be, and would try to do things no sane person ever would. Kodos to your S.O., at lest he noticed the situation and mentioned it to you. I don't know about you,but when they had me on the bi-polar meds. I was lucky if I new what day it was, let alone the current state of affairs.Maybe because I was PTSD and they had me on the wrong meds. it was diffrent.
How is the lawn cutting going...need any help? I am not manic, but I am a horrific perfectionist at times.LOL
Hang in there, I am out here sailing in the same universe.

Goddess Above/ I wish this site had spell check!!!! Perfectionisim is a bitch when you are phonetic.
BLESSED BE TO ALL

You read my mind on that spell check. Hey Ex-Enabler. Hang in there. Someone attempting suicide can really throw you for a loop. What do you suppose that means? "Throw you for a loop" Any ideas?

knock/throw for a loop
Slang - To surprise tremendously; astonish.

I'm still trying to find the origin of the phrase, but the definition remains consistant wherever I find it.
Thanks for the project, it will keep me focused for a while!
