i did something good for me today - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Today i went to a craft store and got some water color paints brushes and paper that was suggested by therapist and my shrink to do to help me cope with my bipolar disorder to help me ease my mind at times

i have already painted a hot air balloon scene for a card and now i am thinking of something else to inspire me too. so i thought i would come in and say hello

over the weekend i got a lot of sleep that was needed a lot i had my teen watch her little brother regarding lots of yelling from her and all but i told her i needed some mommie rejuv timebefore this week comes into play

with her going to court this week our lives might change alot this week
my teen is also bipolar and also an alkie and addict in deniel too she haws been in out patient treatment now since july and has had dirty urine test since she has started.

besides that she is also on probation too and her po does pee test too and those too have all been dirty too so this is the next step inpatient treatment center

for me i am powerless over it but it has to be done now , maybe it will click and change her life for the best who knows it is up to hp and her now

Good for your for doing some painting. What a great way to express yourself.

Am am sorry about your daughter. My son is an addict and I know what you are going through.

Just keep being good to yourself. And work on your recovery. Leave the rest to God.

Painting is a great idea. I love to color. I buy myself coloring books all the time. I don't like sharing my crayons because I don't like other people to break them, lol.

My son is also an addict so we know what you're going through. Hang in there and join us on the naranon alanon boards anytime.

Hi Mistee;
I have been going to Al-anon for five months and in doing so have discovered that I do a pretty good job of drawing. I always wanted to but was too afraid of failure. Now I love to draw and also make little things for my group. Our prayers are with you and your daughter.
