Feeling down on Bi polar medication
Hi. I just started on this site.
My doctor prescribed me epilim in the morning and the night. I have been on the medication for about 4 weeks now and feel rather flat, unable to commit to anything or see anything working out . Before this I was on an SSRI for about 10 years but doc said it was pushing me into manic episodes so stopped that and put me onto epilim.
Does anyone have any experience on this medication and how it has worked for them and if what I am feeling is normal in the beginning and if I will get used to feeling like this?
Thanks for your help.

I don't have any experience with that medication, but what I can tell you of my experience with meds is that sometimes it takes longer than we might think to be effective. I found it helpful to keep a journal and relay to my prescriber what I was feeling.
