| Hi Everyone
Thank you so much for checking up on me. I just got home from a 10 day inpatient theraputic hospital which has a ward that specializes in PTSD. I have learned so much about myself, and have met wonderful people who were able to actually relate and understand me. I finally don't feel so alone any more. Hopefully, I will be starting the outpatient day program on Monday to continue with my therapy. I have a long road a head of me, but I have found the strength and hope that I need to help me in my recovery. God Bless, Hazeleyes |

Have been thinking of you and wondering when you would be back. Wonderful to see you have a plan in line.

Hi SadHazeleyes, I'm so glad that you're back and you've had such good treatment in your program. Learning more about ourselves is the key to moving forward on this journey, I think. I wish you good luck with your continuing treatment and I hope that you will keep posting. Love, Anna

This road is going to be kind of scary for me, but now I finally know what in the h*ll is wrong with me! lol My emotions are more stable and my anger has decreased, some. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with nosey neighbors? These neighbors were so called 'friends', but pretty much abandoned me when I became severely depressed. However, when there is juicy gossip that can spread they are right on top of it. UGG! Hazeleyes |

Thanks for the advice. I get pretty pissed off about it, and would rather tell them just what I am thinking, but I know that would just make matters worse. However, I have learned a very valuable lesson, and that is to be very careful who you think are 'true' friends, because they can turn out to be very detrimental to you in the end. I have learned how to tell the difference between what is a 'true' friend and what is not, and I now know who I can trust. Thanks again. Hazeleyes |

I wish I could have gone to the clinic with you then. I learned this the hard way. I guess I have to take a few hard knocks on the head before I see the 'truth'. I finally had to shuck my rose-colored glasses which may ultimately have helped me to see that I'm an alcoholic and that things outside my world are much different than I perceived. I hope you post some more about what you learned, as I could sure use a few pointers. Thank you, Sandy | |

Hazeleyes, I am glad to see you here. I have been thinking about you and wondering how things were going. You sound great! I know it's slow going but it's sound like you are going in the right direction. As for nosey neighbors......tell them what you want to or don't.....you don't owe them anything...or any explainations. NO matter what or where you are (work or home) there are always going to be gossip mongers that have no life so live through others! And sometimes it is hard to know who is and is not a true friend. I am glad you are learning the difference....that's great progress. Share with who you like to and feel safe with and to the others....walk on by with a smile! Keep up the good work girl ! I am so glad you are here.

Mooty and Zoomer, I wanted to share something that someone said in the PTSD ward that I thought was cute and actually made a lot of sense. "The reason we are medicated is so that we can deal with the 'crazy' people on the outside." LOL Hazeleyes |

Just curious... one of these so called friends is a nurse, and I think that she may have asked and received information about me from the hospital, and then shared the information with other people. Isn't this unethical?
