I'm 'stable', WOW.

Most people here know, that I suffered from depression, anxiety, panic disorder with agoraphobia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I spent 2 1/2 years pretty much in bed, a basket case, and on disability. Well, I have been working really hard on myself, along with my doctors and my life has turned around. I am once again a productive member of society.

I went to my doctor yesterday (a psycho-pharmacologist) and he told me that I have stabilized and I am doing well on my meds and he only needs to see me every 3 months now. Unless of course I have a problem. I can't believe it. I feel like the nightmare is finally over. I know I can't get too cocky about it or I can go right back where I was, but it feels great.

I have myself back.

Laurie,
I can't decide whether I'm more happy for you or jealous of you! :laugh2:
No, seriously, I am very happy for you. That is an absolute triumph. But I do wish I could get there myself.

Here is a link for Dual Recovery Anonymous meetings in Pennsylvania:

It's a 12-Step fellowship for folks with addiction and other psych disorders. Thought you might be interested.

Love, Eddie :sigh:
