Hey, remember me?

Well it seems our computer is finally back from the dead. Weeks ago I asked my husband to call the guy who had fixed it before to just ask about it. We went through a big to do. He kept going on about how he wasn't going to pay another $300 to get this thing fixed, and I was saying "Just call the guy. Maybe he can help you out over the phone." Him, "oh, he won't do that, he's going to want to make his money." Me: "you don't know that, just give it a try." He just wouldn't do it. He has spent hours on her trying to get this thing to run right. Then the clincher was when our DSL went out. He really had to get serious then cause he has to be able to get on-line. LOL He spent 4 hours on the phone with the DSL people, and it still wouldn't work. This was last night. I had taken the kids out to eat. When I came back the computer was working beautifully. I asked him how he got it to work. He said he finally called the guy and the guy took him through it over the phone. I teased him and said, "now promise the next time you'll listen to me." LOL

I see there are some new people here, so I'd like to say welcome, and that you'll be seeing me here more often now.

Re: Hey, remember me?

Juls!!! So glad you're computer is fixed...it's a real bummer and a pain when the things won't work. Mine has been kicking me off here lately..saying some abnormal program termination. I don't know, between that and the pop ups it's frustrating, luckily I can still get right back on the net though.
Well, glad you're back..missed you. Kept looking for a post from you. How is your chest/heart doing by the way? Hope all is well!

Re: Hey, remember me?

I'm fine. I figured out what happened. I get migraine headaches once in a while, and the medication has caffeine in it. I didn't realize it at the time. The Dr. said that caffeine can cause this, plus I'd had coffee that day, so I think I just had a caffeine over-dose, LOL.
