It´s like a curse, but I´m still under sick. I don´t seem to be able to beat this flu or whatever I have. I have a doctor´s appointment tomorrow and will take a bloodtest for every possible ailment. I´ve been going out though and seeing my friends, there was a wonderful dinner on Monday and a great party today at an ex-beauty queen house LOL. She was a Miss Universe, if you can believe it! Now she´s about sixty or seventy but looks great. She gave me lots of advice on diet and beauty treatment. Not bad. Each time I go jogging, swimming or exercising, I start feeling sick. Is there anything I should ask my doctor to look for in the blood? The doctor is male, as my female doctor is on leave. To me it´s a big step because I haven´t been able to let men touch me for 4 years. Quote:

Lilya, What about going to a homeopath or an accupuncturist. I frequently get more relief with them than I do from western medicine. Fortunately where I work there is both. One of the benefits, which are few, of my job. For colds and things the best from of Vitamin C to take is what is called Ester, or Esterized C. It is formulated in a way that makes it possible for the body to absorb more of it without any type of stomach or intestinal discomfort. Most vitamins are lost through, how do I say, our eliminatory systems, so that we actually get very little of the vitamin absorbed into our system. Of course once you get the cold it doesn't help much, but before on an on-going basis is what helps to prevent them. You probably know about echinacia and golden seal. There are alot of good homeopathic things to help colds and things too. I almost always consult with my homeopathic dr. before I go for regular medical unless it is something that obviously requires medical intervention. When I was having my problem with excessive bleeding I was getting accupuncture tx's, and taking herbs, and it helped tremendously. I take a iron/vitamin supplement which I really like, and that helps to keep me well. It is called "Floradix + Herbs." I don't know if they sell it there, but I know you can get it off the internet. It is a very good, and easily absorbable from of iron, which is definitely important for women because of our cycles. Particularly for me since I have the double uterus and have very heavy cycles. There is also a tea "P'au Darco" which is very good. I hope you get back to "normal" soon. Juls

Thanks, my dear girls, I´m back from the doctor. He examined me almowt everywhere. You name it, he examined. He had my blood tested for the third time this winter, but couldn´t find anything wrong with me. We will wait for the results of the test, but his verdict was I´m healthy. I don´t understand. He told me I worked too much and was under too much stress. He told me to think about cutting down on social work and concentrate on being good to myself. It´s like your New Years Resolution, Juls. Otherwise it was nice to being looked after by a man, although I blushed each time he touched me. He quoted Tolstoy and Pushkine and is very philosophical. I already went for a walk in the parc. Juls, thanks so much for your advice. I will start getting these Vitamine C you talked about and will talk to a homopath. Quote:
