~Lilya~

I think it so awesome that you do the SOS lines. This is something I would like to do here, I am thinking if I went to NA more, that is one possibility, I could reach out to more people...maybe take some calls from home. I am by my phone a lot. While I have great difficulty taking care of business and using the phone..I think I could handle it in a recovery context, It is something I have been thinking about a lot, my husband says I should become a drug/alcohol counselor, I am slowly looking into that too, but volunteering...I am a big fan if doing this. Just wanted to let you know, I think what you're doing makes a difference. ***Big Hugs across the ocean!***

Hi Tammie,

I think you should go for it! I had to take a training course first, because this is no picknick and there are standard things you need to know. You need to be centered and very focused. This is actually helpful for oneself, and I believe I´m healing myself each time I´m working the lines because of all the positive things I have to say, the encouragement and concentrating on a problem.

I think you would be good as you´re very outgoing and compassionate.

Go for it!

P.S. I loved that cat! He looks a little bit like my Jupitre, only mine is tigré. (stripes?)

I think this year my motto will definitely be Go for it! I have stayed hidden and all tucked inside my home and self for too long, I miss more interaction and having something to be accountable for.

My kitty looks a lot like this one too, except he is orange. He is something! Has the cutest personality. Loves to play hide and seek! And to play on the stairs. I stand there forever throwing his ball and mouse toys, til he lays on top of the toys and just gives out. Fat Louie is his name, and he has earned it! He let me put all kinds of bows and things around jis head for pictures. He loves to sleep in my husbands gift bag from Christmas, yesterday I was puting the last of the Christmas decorations away and I looked over he had his head cradled in the handle, his body tucked inside the bag... purring like a loud car engine. He lets the kids carry him around in the bag! Crazy cat, has to be "tucked in" at night also, right beside my sons bed. It's almost ridiculous the way I spoil him, but he does run the house...so gotta keep him happy! LOL.........

Jupitre, I like that! This is the Persian one right? Mine isn't a persian, just long haired and big!

Hope you have a good evening......***hugs***
