| It´s the year 2004!
It´s very late in Paris and I´m home from my feast. Snails and mandarine duck as usual, pasta and lamb, mousse aux chocolat and my famous Crème brûlée. Yummy! It´s a new year with new hopes!  I went out with my family and flock of nieces and we were freezing - it´s minus 1 degree in Paris, but I´m warm and comfortable and feel good. I hope you had a good evening. If you felt bad because you were alone or sick, please post. You´re not alone. Quote:

So good to see you Lilya!!! Glad you had a wonderful evening! I will be watching the celebrations on tv with my two kiddo's, hubby couldn't make it home tonight..will seee him tomorrow. Kinda tired and lonely tonight, have been having a few crying spells of all things...oh well, it's good to cleanse the soul every now and then, a good cry seems to do just that! It is 8:43 EST here, so we have a little ways to go.....but HAPPY NEW YEARS my friend...I wish you the BEST in 2004..and beyond.

I´m sorry, ma grande. It´s a heavy feeling sometimes, because the whole planet is expecting so many changes and it´s a milestone. A new year. Remember that some people have no place to go, no house nor shelter. I passed some vagrants in the street on my way home. You are loved and cherished by so many. But the lonliness is hard. I had a wonderful talk wit my best friend, we talked for 1 and half hour. We had difficulties last year and now it´s OK between us. My thoughts are with you, ma chérie, and I have a feeling good changes are coming your way. It´s linked with a professional activity. I kiss you, Quote:

Awwwww..you are so kind, you are so right Lilya..and I have watching so much of the earthquake coverage, so much devastation, and the powerlessness to help with something I sensed was coming, have always been strongly attined to earthquakes....anyways, I will be fine, just gotta let it out..I am so blessed, and loved, I am very grateful, sometimes it seems as though I do not deserve all that I have, but I am also learning to shut off this negative talk quickly...I am learning and growing so fast it sems, just some growing pains!! LOL......You really sense some professional activity for me???? I have felt I would be able to do something this year, not for sure what yet, but praying/mediatating on it.....Get you some good sleep tonight Lilya......*****Big New Year Hugs******* Thanks for all your encouragements and advice........angels on your pillow. Right back to you, Tammie. How are you, ma belle? What have you planned for fun in this brand new month? I know of one thing. I am invited to Larry Flynt´s bar near the Champs in Paris, and I´m thinking about it. Why not? It´s suppose to be good. :devil2: I might go there because I loved the film "People versus Larry Flynt", and it´s been more than 17 years since I entered a place like that. Might be fun to know how it will affect me sober. Quote:

Hi Mamabear! Happy new year to all of you. Hope you had a nice transition to 2004.I got your PM and will answer you later, ma belle. About Larry´s joint in Paris, that´s just for laughs. Some friends in AA have already checked it out and it seems quite decent. They thought it would do me good and maybe open up some hidden dimensions in me - as I´ve been celibate for quite some time! It´s suppose to be very glamourous and it sounds like fun. Maybe I go, maybe I won´t, but then I only go for the movie ande to hail Larry´s activity for free speech.  I´m trying to get myself together after the new year´s festivities, trying to exercise and build up my health again, for God´s sake! How are you, Dotcom? Love and light, Quote:
